Deep
This is the perfect look for this album. Fuck all the hype of how long it took. Fuck you. Who the fuck are you to pressure somebody? I don't know how the cd is gonna be. What I do know is that's some of Marshall's best writing right thre. I wasn't fuckin with his last few cds like that, and fuck Love the Way you Lie, this right here is some gut wrenching shit. Honest. Brash. Bold. A few words that come time mind the way he put Dre in check on that 2nd verse. Dre's courage to put that out, and open up his life for this album is to be commended. It's hard when we want to judge an artist by a song or album. 'This song ain't shit, that album ain't sellin', we say. Not realizing that you have to step back and look at a career to be able to asses what a human who happens to make beats and rap, has really gone thru and brought to the table. One question, where's video of D.O.C.? It didn't jar them reliving what really happened to the Texas legend to at least put in a clip of Funky Enough? Is he a part of the fake friends brigade that Dre mentions? Thumbs up on this one
Fitting Tribute
Big Pun was, and is the greatest rapper of all time. Period. Nobody rapping could put it together like him and make as much sense; rhyming, even the outlandish stuff, from a deeply personal perspective. He did in one album what most cats can't do in a
career. I'm not sure who this G-Fella is, hip hop has had many white boys from uptown Kasino, Genovese but this dude has a nice co-sign and he treated the game with respect. One day maybe they'll open the books, and see his name. Baby Pun...we gotta get you a better handle, be your own man, it's cool showin pops love but be your own man. Lyrically, you're on the right route, keep it up.

Guilty! Please let me testify...you accuse me
The gavel dropped in Tampa, and mi bredren Buju was found guilty. Damn shun, caan be. Around high school, Buju was a young brash dj, more likely to talk about the gals dem, and bunin chi chi. Time changed and he evolved into a new face for the rasta movement. Youngins in the dancehall were drawn to Shiloh Buju's break thru album. By this time I too was attached to the way of life, and got to reason with the i-dren, (interview coming!). Too much hangin with rappers I guess. International pressures, 15 pickney!!! Hold ya head homie. One love

Director Spotlight
Gotta give this cat Ben Afleck a shout out. I caught the town a few months ago, and I loved it. Figured I'd go back in his catalog and watch Gone Baby Gone...good fuckin movie. Casey came off a little too hard, but having a lot of friends from Boston, I can see how that might happen. Nice look keepin a lot of the same cast members. Amy Ryan is a bad b!@#, actin her ass off!

Joy and Pain...
Love is some powerful shit. Familia love, or for a spouse/significant other it makes the world go 'round and life worth living; or giving up when you loose it all. You ever love somebody that much? You ever been loved that much?
